Freedom Outfitters was founded in 2008 and is owned and operated by Cody Hazen a nine year veteran of guiding hunters professionally.  He and his wife Jenny and their two sons Ethan Levi Hazen and Tristan James Hazen currently live in Roy, New Mexico.  Cody makes his entire living in the outdoors.  When not guiding hunters in the fall Cody works for the federal government controlling problem wildlife and spends five days a week in the outdoors hunting.  He runs his business with the highest degree of honesty he can.  No hunter will ever book with Freedom Outfitters without knowing exactly what he or she can expect.  No lies, no exaggerations just simple upfront honesty.  His only goal on every hunt is to give the client everything he has to make it the absolute best experience possible.  He owes everything he has to God, his family and his country and it is the last that inspired him to name the company Freedom Outfitters.  He feels a deep  gratitude to the men and women of this country who give their lives to protect it.  He has and will continue to donate a hunt every year to the men and women in uniform.
