Mule Deer Hunts take place on three ranches in Northeast New Mexico.
On our 180,000 acre ranch we have 4 buck tags available. Total price is $7000. Price includes everything, tax, license, lodging, food and 2x1 guide ratio. Hunts are conducted out of multi-million dollar lodge and have produced some great bucks. This year 170", 174", 179" and 183". You will see a lot of deer on this hunt and have a legit chance at a book deer. Gary killed a 193" green gross last year that will be number eight deer in the state SCI. Hunt will be the first deer hunt on the ranch and will be last week of October. A cow elk can be added to the hunt for $500 plus the cost of the license.
The second ranch is a 25,000 acre ranch and we have 2 buck tags available. Total price is $6000. Price includes everything, tax, license, lodging, food and 1x1 guide ratio. Hunts are in the "rut" and will take place sometime around the middle of December. We have seen some 180" type deer on the ranch and have harvested three great deer over the last two years. Last year a 160" deer and this year two bucks in the 150-160" class.
Finally there is the 25,000 acre mule deer country. We have 2 buck tags available on this one. This hunt is $3000 to hunt with a $2500 kill fee. Hunts are 2x1 and take place in late October and early November. One buck hunted this year and was 163".
